The Oxide Gallery offers various media created by artists, many from Denton County and the North Texas area. Pieces are for sale on consignment and change frequently.
Gallery owner, Warren Hooper, houses his main gallery at the corner of Hickory Street and Carroll Boulevard and also displays samples on the walls at Banter Bistro just a few blocks away. Banter enjoys having a mutually supportive relationship with artists and with local businesses in the heart of Denton, Texas.
Oxide Gallery hosts two types of art shows. The Main Show is a four month showing by invitation of eclectic artwork in various styles and media by artists show at main their gallery on Hickory Street. The Theme Show is a one month showing of artwork which shares a specific subject matter or genre and is limited to artists of Denton County and North Texas.
Oxide Gallery hosts a public Gallery Night at the first of each month, and also offers private Gallery Nights for special groups. Contact Oxide Gallery for more details.
